Who we are
FeatureCycle provides changelog, feedback and roadmap software. This policy covers this website and the FeatureCycle app at app.featurecycle.com. Questions about privacy can be sent through our contact page.
Information we collect
- Account information such as your name, email address and workspace details when you sign up.
- Workspace content you and your customers add, such as ideas, votes, comments, survey answers and announcements.
- GitHub metadata if you connect the FeatureCycle GitHub App: pull request, issue and release titles and descriptions. We do not read your source code or diffs.
- Billing information, handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
- Messages you send through our contact form.
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type and usage events needed to run, secure and improve the service.
How we use information
- To provide and secure the service, including sign-in, spam protection and abuse prevention.
- To send transactional email, such as account notices and the update notifications your workspace chooses to send.
- To generate draft release notes with AI models from the metadata you connect. Drafts are never published without approval from a person in your workspace.
- To bill for paid seats and to respond to your questions.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run FeatureCycle, including hosting and network providers, a database and authentication provider, an email delivery provider, a payment processor, and AI model providers for draft generation. They process information only on our instructions.
Your choices
- You can export workspace data and request deletion of your account.
- Customers of our users can unsubscribe from update emails using the link in each email.
- You can contact us to access, correct or delete personal information.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. We use access controls, encryption in transit and audit logging to protect data.

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above.
